1st of all we WILL be coming back to FARWELL MICHIGAN, date t.b.a., but around the 1st weekend of november at the High School. They have shown interest in having FORMER WWE SUPERSTAR RIKISHI on the show. We are still in talks, but that's where we are at on Farwell.
2nd we have also been in CLOSE contact with CHRIS SURA from Houghton Lake High School and we will be sitting down with them to book a late fall or early spring show there as well...SNOW DAY III
Time will tell.3rd today at 5pm Eric and Tracy are having another sit down with the Wexford County Special Olympics about having a fundraiser for them. They are in dire need of funds. With over 140 Special Athletes in the area the operating budget for them per year to send all their athletes to both the summer and winter games is $22,000 for the year. The summer games are coming up, but we are trying to help them raise $12,000 for the winter games. We of coarse are planning a wrestling show to be held in Cadillac, MI and just because it goes hand in hand with the theme...we will be bringing in FORMER WWE SUPERSTAR EUGENE for this event. It will be a fall date, they should know more tonight. UWE will also be hosting a GOLF SCRAMBLE, CAR WASH, possible SOFTBALL TOURNEY, and ELVIS NIGHT all to help them reach their goal.
4th We are proud to announce that UWE has sponsored our first Softball Team in the Cadillac area. The team is called Sallys. On the back of their uniforms it says "Universyl Wrestling Enterprizes Championship Wrestling" Pretty cool, huh. We will put up their schedual this week if anyone is interested in coming out and supporting the team.
5th UWE has Finally got a t-shirt distributer. YEAH !!! So, there will be some t-shirts coming soon. (ERIC FREEDOM'S HARDCORE HIPPIE SHIRT-"I WANT BAD THINGS TO HAPPEN TO YOU) and "PRO WRESTLING IS REAL, PEOPLE ARE FAKE" just to name a few. Also we now have the ability to print your picture at the shows, taken with one of the stars from our roster or one of the MANY SUPERSTARS we bring in, directly onto a t-shirt. So instead of just a poloroid you could get your picture taken with lets say ODB, and have it on a shirt for the world to see. Pretty sweet !
6th as most of you know Eric Freedom runs looseshoe productions and does all the editing for UWE's DvDs. His computer crashed and he just got the whole thing wiped and will be catching up so you can get the DvDs of the last few shows by HOMECOMING.
7th the ELECTRIK KOMPANY is going to be up and running again. Apparently Gene (64racing) has decided to start his UWE training in the next couple of weeks. Also, the person who lost to Nathan Grimley's $100 challenge at NO BUMMER SUMMER is going to have a tryout at Eric's School in the next week also. 2 New students...meat for the grinder so to speak. Eric is excited to be training once again.
