MWN! sits down with MCPW Wrestler, Zeroe. Talks about Sandman, Former Manager, More...

Zeroe, thank you so much for your time with the site.  I'm going to keep this as to the point as possible, as I'm sure you have things to do to prepare for this big match at MCPW Battle Ground.

The first thing I really have to ask is about 95.5 The Zone's Cartman.  He's been in MCPW for about a year now.  What is, or was, your relationship with this man?

Well, Cartman and I had been friends for a few months when I asked him to come to MCPW to be my manager. He thought it would be really good for both his radio station, “The Zone”, as well as MCPW and kind of be a cross promotion, it all worked out for awhile, but then it seemed as if he lost interest after a few shows. I basically called him up one day and told him to not bother to show up in my corner again, because not only had he been letting me down, he had been letting down the MCPW Fans in Kalkaska. So at the end of 2007 Cartman returned to basically ruin my career and bring in wrestler after wrestler to take me out, many of them came very close, and he’s going full throttle at trying to take me out this Saturday at Battle Ground 2008.

You and Cartman have had your issues, but how did Sandman get involved?  This is a legend, and he's YOUR partner.  How did you do that?

When all the ruckus broke out at the 1 Year Anniversary Show, I just couldn’t handle it, not only did I have Cartman in the ring, I had him ready to suffer and pay for what he did, but yet again, he brought out one of his cronies he paid off to lay me out, and it happened. When I was laying at home nursing my head injury from the attack, he issued a challenge for Battle Ground 2008 to “end it all” in an Anything Goes Tag Team Match. His hand picked team is Hardcore Harry and Sami Callihan, and he thought I was all alone, no friends, no partners, nothing, so I had to make a call. . .and that was to a man I know can take it to the extreme and will have my back in my hometown, a man that is known as The Hardcore Icon, The Sandman.

Cartman has shown his representatives for him, and they are Sami Callihan and Hardcore Harry.  What do you think about them?  Have you met them before this showdown?

I don’t know much about them, I have been to other shows and shared locker rooms with them, they always kinda seemed to themselves, no real problems, but I guess when the big money came calling up from Cartman, they had a problem with me. I haven’t seen them or heard from them since the challenge, other than Chainsaw TV, but I know they will do what Cartman tells them in order to get their big pay day from him. I know Hardcore Harry is exactly what he says he is, I have seen videos of him online brawling with King of the Death Matches, Ian Rotten, I know he is capable of some gruesome things, and with Sami Callihan I have seen him go toe to toe with some of the biggest name Indy wrestlers out there, and he can hit harder than any young guy out there today, so I do have the odds stacked against me in a way, however that is why I have The Sandman to back me up. If Cartman wants to bring in his big guns, I will bring in mine.

Do you regret setting the stakes so high? You could've backed out, this is an Anything Goes Match with some of the independent scene's hardest hitting wrestlers.

I don’t regret anything for a second, the “HxC (Hardcore) Warrior” name is not just some fancy name meaning I like to have hardcore matches, it’s about being straight edge, having respect for myself, and not backing down. As one of my favorite HxC-Straight Edge Bands lyrics go,

“From the beginning, F*** your regrets, This one life I live I won't throw away”.

So again, I don’t regret it, I don’t regret anything I do, the time is now to stand up and fight, no matter what Cartman throws in my path, I will do my best, especially in my home town of Kalkaska. This is a match in front of my family and friends, my peers, people that know me personally, and I will not let them down, and I will not let Cartman continue to put them down. This Saturday I will walk into the Kaliseum with The Sandman, and put my life, my body, and my soul on the line to finish this.

Will this be the end? This could end careers, but will it end the bad blood between you and Cartman?

Never say Never, but I would like it to be the end. I am going to give it my all to finally silence Cartman, and take out his paid guns. I am pretty confident no one will mess with The Sandman, and if they try, they will fail. Like I said, this is the biggest match of my career, and I will give everything to end this, no matter WHAT it takes. . .

Thank you again, Zeroe.
