INTERVIEW: DRAKE YOUNGER Invades "THE HOTSEAT"!
*** Brought to you by Insane Wrestling Federation Online
(www. iwfprowrestling. com) ***
Question: For those who aren't familiar with you, tell
everyone a little about yourself. Where you are from, when did you start wrestling, etc.
DRAKE YOUNGER: My name is "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger
. I'm 5' 9, 210 lbs and I'm from Indianapolis, Indiana by way of the American Kickboxer's R.A.A.G.E. Dojo. My Finishing Move
is the Drake's Landing and I am the current CZW (Combat Zone Wrestling) Ultra Violent Underground Champion.
Q: Who has been your toughest opponent & what was
your favorite match?
DRAKE: My toughest opponent was probably Low-Ki and my favorite
match was against Necro Butcher at CZW's "Cage of Death 8".
Q: As a child growing up, who were your favorite wrestlers
to watch on the boob tube or at your local arena? Which one wrestler in particular made you want to lace up the boots and
become a professional?
DRAKE: When I was young, I was a Hulkamaniac. As I got older,
I idolized Cactus Jack and Sabu.
Q: From a fan's standpoint, which wrestlers in the Insane
Wrestling Federation should the fans be keeping a special eye on? Who entertains you?
DRAKE: CK3 is a threat for sure if he's 100%...I am entertained
the most by "Mr. Insanity" Toby Klein.
Q: There's always talk about how WWE or anyone else at
the top has done "the wrong thing" at different times or people ask "why that guy" when they are picked up. Is there anyone
you think should have gone up by now to the WWE?
DRAKE: Probably Chris Hero.
Q: If there was one thing you could change about wrestling,
what would it be?
DRAKE: To not have so much emphasis on a persons body. To
focus more on talent rather than muscles.
Q: If you had the chance to pick the brain of one person
in wrestling, who would it be?
DRAKE: I would love to chat with Mick Foley
Q: Favorite Road Trip Story?
DRAKE: One time, I fell asleep before everyone else and my
trainer the American Kickboxer poured water on my crotch. When I woke up, I thought that I'd p**sed myself. They didn't reveal
the prank for about an hour or so. So needless to say, I felt embarassed...lol.
Q: If there was one impression you wanted to leave on
people, what would it be?
DRAKE: That I'm one of the more polite wrestlers that they
have met.
WORD ASSOCIATION TIME:
Zach Gowen
DRAKE: Funny as hell and a great inspiration.
Jimmy Jacobs
DRAKE: TALENTED - enough said.
American Kickboxer
DRAKE: One of the best teachers around...I'm so proud to have
learned from him.
The Soul Shooters
DRAKE: Great guys and great athletes. Fun on the road as well.
Truth Martini
DRAKE: A Detroit Legend! A great trainer as well.
A.T. Huck
DRAKE: Very nice and vey professional to work for. I can remember
him on tv from ECW...He interacts with the boys very well.
Necro Butcher
DRAKE: One of the smartest wrestlers you'll meet. Such an
innovator.
Ian Rotten:
DRAKE: A smart promoter and a good guy. He has helped me out
tremendously.
Q: Any closing remarks?
DRAKE: Thanks for the support...I look forward to wrestling
the Necro Butcher on 5/24 and winning the IWF Heavyweight Title. Check out my merch at myspace. com/Brutalbutchershoppe and
