The X-Awards opened with your host...A.T. HUCK.
The Necro Butcher was awarded "X-treme
Wrestler Of The Year" by presenter Marty Jannetty.
1. "Wrestling's Only One-Legged Wrestler" ZACH
GOWEN won the XICW Light Heavyweight Title in a Six Way Fray over
"KID HYBRID" Chris McGinnis, JEFF "The Hook" BROOKS, TD, "South Paw" SONNY SCARBONI and KID STATIK after Gowen pinned Hybrid
with a roll-up.
Truth Martini was awarded "Manager Of The Year" by presenters & birthday boys and girls N8 Mattson, Layne
& Angel.
2. The House
Of Truth's "Motor City Monster" EDDIE VENOM w/ Truth Martini pinned GUTTER with a Yukon Bomb.
The Devil's Own's Devil Drop was
awarded "Finishing Manuever Of The Year" by presenter DJ Shortstop from Channel 955. Unfortunately
for DJ Shortstop, Skull Ganz & Devil Dawg proceeded to demonstrate the move on him as well.
3. In a match that saw both men bloody from head to toe, BRAIN DAMAGE
made his return to XICW as he defeated "The Prettyboy Redneck" LEVI BLUE with Brain Hemorrhage (Package Piledriver).
The Devil's Own were awarded Tag
Team Of The Year by presenter and the legendary Deathdealer Tommy Starr. Unfortunately for Tommy Starr, The Devil's Own layed him out with the Devil's Drop as well.
4. In a First Time Ever Meeting in XICW, "The Most Dangerous Man In Michigan"
THE DBA represented The Fun Lovin' Criminals as he defeated The House Of Truth's "Amazing" N8 MATTSON with the danger drop
after interference from Truth Martini backfired on N8. Before the match, N8 asked Truth not to accompany him to ringside and
that he wanted to win the match on his own. After DBA kicked out of N8's M-80, Truth rushed the ring and ordered N8 to pick
DBA up. With N8 holding DBA, Truth proceeded to accidentally clobbered N8 with his Manager Of The Year plaque after DBA ducked
out of the way....leading to The DBA win.
Timekeeper Greg Schmizzy was
awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by presenter AT Huck.
THE DEVIL'S OWN (Devil Dawg & "Pitbull"
Skull Ganz) were interrupted by XICW Commissioner THE AMERICAN KICKBOXER. Kickboxer announced that he had made a decision
on the future of The Devil's
Own. At "Beyond X-treme", The Devil's Own had agreed that if they failed to win the XICW Tag Team Championships from THE RINGSIDE REVUE (Gavin
Starr & Keith Creme), they would break-up as a team in XICW! The Devil's Own did win the match-up, but did not win the
titles as they only secured a countout victory and belts only change hands via a pinfall or a submission. Because The Devil's
Own failed to win the titles and because of their recent behavior during the X Awards, Kickboxer announced The Devil's Own
are now banned from teaming in XICW. Kickboxer then announced he had decided to add another Xtreme Main Event to "Main Event
Mayhem"...Ganz vs. Dawg and to ring the bell.
5. In the battle between The Devil's Own, "The Pitbull" SKULL GANZ vs. "Big Double D" DEVIL DAWG was interrupted
by Wrestling's Only Deaf Manager "Handsome" Johnny Bradford. In what originally started as a friendly match-up, quickly both
wrestlers questioned the other regarding Bradford's involvement at ringside. After Devil Dawg speared Ganz, Bradford jumped
on the apron to distract Devil Dawg. After Dawg chased him off the apron and gloated to Bradford it was over, his pin was
reversed via a crucifix and Ganz was awarded the victory. After the bout, Ganz and Bradford hugged showing they were in cahoots
all along.
The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Ringside Revue was awarded Match
Of The Year by presenter Johnny Delicious.
6. Due to interference in the past, XICW Commissioner
AMERICAN KICKBOXER informed TRUTH MARTINI that The HOUSE OF TRUTH (Eddie Venom & N8 Mattson) would be banned from
ringside for Truth's No Disqualification bout against former tag partner and friend JAIMY COXXX. After being threatened with
a suspension from XICW, Venom & Mattson eventually left. With The House Of Truth banned from ringside, Truth Martini announced
he was refusing to wrestle and proceeded to leave. Truth tried to go back to the locker room but was blocked by The DBA and
a barbed wire baseball bat. He tried to escape via another exit but was met by Zach Gowen and his cane. Truth then tried to
leave thru the front door but was blocked by Gutter, Jeff Brooks, TD & Kid Statik. Truth was then thrown into the ring
by The FLC's to start the match.
After
gaining an early advantage, Coxxx was blinded by a handful of powder from Martini. After taking advantage of the No DQ Stipulation,
a thingyy Martini beat on Coxxx unmercifully. Coxxx was finally able to make a comeback and go for the thingy Block. Venom
and N8 rushed to the ring but Venom was knocked silly by DBA and Gowen as N8 looked on and just watched. Truth tried to throw
powder in Jaimy's eyes for a 2nd time but Coxxx kicked the powder into Truth's eyes. Coxxx then pinned Martini via a thingy
Block to not only retain his Midwest Title but to finally gain revenge on his bitter enemy.
7. In the Co/Main Event, "The Rocker" MARTY JANNETTY pinned Ring Of Honor's
Leader of The Age Of The Fall"JIMMY JACOBS in a back and forth battle after a superkick. After the match,
the two respectfully shook hands until Jacobs attacked Jannetty out of nowhere with a low blow. Could we be seeing a different
attitude in the future for Jimmy Jacobs?
Jaimy Coxxx was awarded Wrestler Of The Year by presenter The American
Kickboxer.
8. In the Main Event,
XICW X-treme Champion THE NECRO BUTCHER defeated "Mr. Insanity" TOBY KLEIN to retain the title in an Xtreme Street Fight!
