'Big Time Wrestling' returns with show WILLIAMSTON
— Fans of the original "Big Time Wrestling" TV series, which featured such memorable
names as Dick the Bruiser, The Sheik, Dusty Rhodes and BoBo Brazil, will get a chance to
follow a new version of the series.

Time Wrestling comes to Williamston Saturday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Eagles Club, with
more than 15 matches and 22 stars of the AWWL.
"To
know that the Big Time Wrestling from yesteryear left such an impact on today's pro wrestling
fans is a great feeling," said co-promoter Tom Farhat, who runs the AWWL with brother Eddie
Farhat, Jr.
"We are creating once again
another top notch wrestling promotion as it once was in the '60s, '70s and '80s," Eddie
Farhat said.
Among the wrestlers making
their names in the current run of "Big Time Wrestling" are Sabu, Bloody Harker Dirge,
Raven, Jerry Lynn, Balls Mahoney, current AwWL champion Blackjack Phoenix, Monster
Ryot and Many more
The Jan. 24th show will be taped for a future broadcast, with the series
airing on stations across Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. Eddie Farhat said negotiations
are in process to take the show for national syndication.
Tickets
to the show are $10 for adults and $5 for children Under 12 may be purchased at the Williamston
Eagles or at Thomas Auto Body, 3800 E. Grand River. A portion of the proceeds will be donated
to the Miller family for medical care for their 3 month-old grandson.
