CWM A DOZEN YEARS OF DEDICATION RESULTS 12TH ANNIVERSARY
SHOW
The show opened up with Sebastian Rose taking on the martial arts expert Louis Linden. Louis had the upper hand
early using his speed and agility but in the end Sebastian Rose’s strength and power prevailed as he defeated Linden.
In
the 2nd match we saw the return of the young Jack Verville who teamed with Deuce Diamond at October Onslaught. Verville decided
to try his luck in singles competition. His opponent is newcomer Tiger Jackson who made his debut. And what an impressive
debut it was because he was victorious over Verville.
Out came Zach Gowen who wanted to be apart of the show after
what seemed an inevitable beat down on CWM Metro Talk show the Monday before the event. (The beat down was not shown on TV
but it will be on the DVD that will be available soon) So who was behind the beat down? The House of Truth. While Zach was
waiting in the ring Truth Martini came out and explained how he trained Zach but Zach quit following his ways and Truth was
disgusted. He then brought out new protégé Jeff Brooks. This match saw a lot of interference from Truth Martini but Zach Gowen
kept fight back. The numbers game finally got the best of Zach as Nate Mattson provided a timely distraction for Jeff Brooks
to get the win.
Up next we saw another newcomer Juice Robinson take on the Jason Harris. Not much is known about the
Chicago native, but we do know that Juice proved to be one tough opponent for Jason Harris. Harris may have won the match
but Juice definitely put the rest of the locker-room on notice that he will be back
Truth Martini came out again to
talk about the rumor he heard. He had heard Scott EZ wanted a tag title shot against the Scarboni’s because Scott EZ
and Magnum Conroy never lost the titles. If you remember EZ was forced to team with Noah Lott at August Aftershock and Noah
Lott cost them the titles. Truth said the Scarboni’s were not at the show because they were on official House of Truth
business. Truth began to tell the crowd he called Magnum Conroy up and offered him a chance to be in the House of Truth if
he could take the Kaos Title off of Scott EZ. Magnum came out and accepted the offer and implied that he was the guiding force
behind the Weapons of Mass Destruction and blamed EZ for losing the titles. EZ came out and the match began. The match went
back and forth and at one point in the match Conroy delivered a spine buster to EZ that broke the ring. Magnum was resorting
to a lot of dirty tactics (But then again it’s a NO DQ match) Magnum got a chair from truth but EZ speared him before
he could hit him and got the win retaining his Kaos Title. After the match EZ told Magnum that he would never turn his back
on him and they could still be partners. Magnum shook his hand and embraced him reunited the Weapons of Mass Destruction.
It
took about 20 minutes to fix the ring but it didn’t matter. The people just saw 5 great matches and were looking forward
to three more main event matches. CWM would like to thank it’s sponsors Tony’s Tunes, Dawg Dog’s, Florentines
Pizza, and KLQ for advertising the show.
Once the ring was fixed, Noah Lott made his way to the ring. The last time
we saw Noah Lott was at August Aftershock. Noah Lott came out and said he wasn’t originally given a match so he issued
an open challenged. He said everyone in the back is scared, the women are scared, the men are scared and even my manager Hollywood
Joe Williamson is scared.(Hollywood Joe Williamson is now doing color commentating for CWM) He explained why everyone was
scared. The women are scared because of his good looks, the men are scared because he will take their girls, and Hollywood
Joe Williamson is scared because he can’t do his job right. Hollywood Joe Williamson yelled back by saying you’re
just mad because I am not taking orders from you anymore. Then out came the returning….Rastakhan. Noah Lott didn’t
look to confident but before the bell could ring Noah attacked Rasta from behind. Noah Lott resorted to a lot of dread pulling
and tried cheating his way to victory. Noah Lott was doing a lot of punishment to Rasta’s knee, however Rasta came back
to defeat the self-proclaim Picture of Perfection with some very devastating moves. Noah Lott didn’t look to happy walking
to the back.
The TV Title tournament finals was next as T.D. took “The Old Timer” Jeff King. This
match was physical. The match was back and forth the whole time. T.D. even managed to escape the bear hug and hit an impressive
kick that knocked out King and gave him the victory. After the match “Old Timer” attacked T.D. spoiling his victory.
King finally left and threw the belt on T.D. One has to wonder if Jeff King will want a rematch.
And now to the Main
Event of the evening. CWM Heavyweight Champion Nate Mattson defending against “Too Tough” Tommy Titus. This match
was a classic. Tommy Titus and Nate Mattson took each others best shots. The fight even went to the balcony where both tried
throw each other off the balcony. The match was in the ring, outside the ring. Nate tried everything to get DQ’d or
counted out but Referee Paul Rodgers wasn’t having any of it. Truth Martini got involved which led Zach Gowen to come
out to even things up. Unfortunately Gowen’s distraction of the ref didn’t allow Titus to get the win. However
the match wasn’t over yet. Nate still had some dirty tricks up his sleeve even bringing a steel chain into the ring.
Titus grabbed the chain out of Mattson hands and hit him with. Titus gets the cover and the win. New Heavyweight Champion,
“Too Tough” Tommy Titus. However Mattson complained to referee Paul Rodgers that Titus hit him with the chain.
Rodgers asked Titus to check his tights. Titus pulled the chain that Mattson put back in his tight and Paul Rodgers DQ’d
Titus and reversed the decision. Your winner and still champion, Nate Mattson. As expected the crowd and Tommy Titus were
absolutely livid.
Tommy Titus then proceeded to blame his loss on….Zach Gowen!!! He stated that Zach’s
interference cost him the title and demanded he come to the ring. Zach made his way to the ring and tried to explain his side
to Titus. Titus wasn’t having any of it and he slapped Zach and went to the back. Zach shook fans hands as the show
ended.
It should be noted the Commissioner Paco Zimmer wasn’t in attendance but will make his return on March
1st. There are a lot of questions going into March 1st like:
Will Tommy Titus and Zach Gowen settle their differences? Who
will be in next in line for Nate Mattson’s title? Is Christian Able going to return and go after the TV title he
never officially lost? Will the Weapons of Mass Destruction get their hands on the Scarboni’s? And what’s
next for Jeff Brooks, Rastakhan, Louis Linden and the other newcomers?
For these answers stay tuned and come find out
on March 1st as CWM Returns to Latvian Hall.
