On Saturday. May 16th, 2009 at the Kaliseum Sports & Recreation Complex in Kalkaska, Michigan. Mr. Chainsaw Productions
Wrestling will hold it's annual "Battle Ground" Event with Special Guest, Wrestling Legend, Former WWE(F), ECW, WCW, and Current
TNA Star: "The Hardcore Legend" MICK FOLEY. The event will also feature many Mr. Chainsaw Productions Wrestling Superstars
such as (but not limited to): MCPW World Champion: Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black, Josh Raymond, Arik Cannon, Christin Able, and
Darren Corbin & Ryan Cruz: The Northstar Express.
"Mick Foley coming to Mr. Chainsaw Productions Wrestling is a
major acquisition for us." Commented MCPW Commissioner Mikey Zeroe. He went on to say, "Mick Foley has been everywhere and
is a true wrestling legend, he's not just a wrester people label with the term "legend" because he's been in a major promotion,
he IS a legitimate legend in this business."
Throughout his wrestling career, Mick Foley has wrestled for many different
promotions, both under his real name and under various personas (most notably Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love). He is the
first ever WWF Hardcore Champion and became a three-time WWF Champion as Mankind. He is also one of the most successful tag
team wrestlers in history, being an eight-time WWF Tag Team Champion, a two-time ECW World Tag Team Champion, and a one-time
WCW World Tag Team Champion, being the only man in history to hold the world tag team titles of WWE, ECW, and WCW under their
original banners. Foley has also won many other championships outside of WWE, WCW and the original ECW.
In addition,
Mick Foley is a multiple-time New York Times best-selling autobiographist. He was also a subject of the documentary Beyond
the Mat, which followed him at the peak of his career. More recently, he was signed up to Bloodstained Memoirs, another wrestling
documentary.
"We wanted something special this year" Commissioner Mikey Zeroe explained, "The first Battle Ground put
MCPW on the map, last Battle Ground set MCPW as a top promotion in the Mid West, and this year, with Mick Foley appearing
as a Special Guest, who knows what levels this could take MCPW to."
