For weeks, fans were promised a huge announcement set for
MCPW "Aftermath" and the fans blew the roof off of the Kalkaska Civic Center when new commissioner Mikey Zeroe made his announcement!
Mike Zeroe announced that MCPW had plans to make MCPW's "Battle
Ground III" the biggest event that any of the fans have seen before! The huge announcement was not just one announcement,
but a series of announcements about the show.
Zeroe announced former/current ROH, MTV, WWE, and japanese
stars will be packed onto the show. He also mentioned that Battle Ground I had a six-man match for the World Heavyweight
Title and that the second Battle Ground had a six-man match for the No Limits Title. This year, the plan is to
unveil the MCPW World Tag Teams Championship Belts and to decide the winner by and eight man tag.
Zeroe also got to the biggest announcement of the night. Not much was able to be said except that
MCPW's side of the contract was signed and he was just waiting on the other man's signature. He couldn't tell the fans
who the big star was, but mentioned a few things along the lines of...
"His beard is very prickly, almost like a cactus, Jack"
"A great wrestler, some would even all him the greatest of all mankind"
And finished his announcements by saying...
"Have a nice day!"
Tons of speculation has gone on about who it could possibly be but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
MCPW's January 10th show will more than likely shed some light on the situation.
